I Love Orange Juice Ok!

Korea things: Going shopping for some house cleaning things and hangers wondering if you should buy some juice while you're at it, deciding not to and then having the cashier give you a free bottle of juice.... nice. This made my day way too good for no reason.  I have come to a point in my life where free juice makes me happy I can't tell if I'm blessed or sad. I don't care really because FREE juice.

The Mailman Knows Me?

Korea Things: Living in a town so small the mailman recognizes you at the store and asks if you will be home at 2 you tell him no so he delivers your package to your job.

Korea Things Thanksgiving

Korea Things: I find my troubles in Korea to consist of how to deal with all the food people give me. I get "service" (free stuff) regularly and it's heaping portions of food or like a special extra side dish or main dish and I'm like oh god I'm full and I have to shove my face with more food. Or my student's parents bring me food to eat and it's like portions I can't eat or food I'm allergic to and I'm like wow. My boss's wife the owner of the hagwon regularly brings me snacks and food to eat and of course offers for me to have dinner at their restaurant everyday. My other problems is having to fake other plans to deny outings to go out and eat with people because I already ate and I know they will want to be good to me and make me eat a lot. I can honestly say I'm thankful for this being my problems having too much food to eat I'm lucky and feel sad and guilty that these are my problems while other people have the exact opposite. #blessed #thanksgiving #blackandabroad #blackinkorea
